Problem
Manual matching of M-Pesa payments to orders consumed hours daily and caused disputes when references were mistyped.
Approach
We implemented Daraja STK push at checkout, idempotent webhook handling, and an automated reconciliation job that matches transactions to orders with a clear exception queue.

Outcome
